DENTAL DIRECTOR

Kristine Drummond, DDS, MPH

Dr. Kris Drummond, DDS-MPH, serves as the Dental Director of the ACHR Dental Clinic.  Dr. Drummond provides clinical supervision and assists with the development and management of the Dental Clinic with the CEO, John Sniezek.  Dr. Drummond completed Dental School at VCU in Richmond, VA in 1980.  In 2006, she earned her MPH from the University of North Carolina's School of Public Health.  Dr. Drummond began her dental career as a National Health Service Corps Dentist in a Federally Qualified Community Center in Central Louisiana.  Once her two year obligation was fulfilled with the US Public Health Service, she remained in the community as a private practitioner for the next 15 years.

Dr. Drummond returned to Virginia in 1998 to work as a Public Health Dentist working for the State of Virginia in Southwest Virginia (Roanoke- 3 dental clinics), providing oral health services and doing program planning.  Her years in Virginia were marked by a desire to serve the community both as a direct care provider as well as a spokesperson on local and statewide committees for increased access to oral health care for special needs populations.  Currently, she is the Dental Consultant for the Summit County Health District in Ohio and has enthusiastically been serving the citizens of Akron City and Summit County with the same respect and passion for quality oral health care since 2007.
